Silk road tour to Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

Silk road or silk route refers to a long trading road which connects east to the west. From 2nd century BCE to the 18th century, chinese people in east had the opportunity to contact the romanians. And in these interactions, products such as silk and ideas like religions were shared. In an other word, this road made globalisation possible due to the interaction of people living along the regions. During these 22 days, you'll visit some of the top-highlighted countries-Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan- of the silk road. Shiraz, Isfaha, Bukhara, Ashgabat and Tashkand are on our way through the route.

Day 01

Your Flight will be landed in IKA (Imam Khomeini airport) in Tehran. From now on, we host you during your trip in Iran. Our representative brings you to hotel for check-in and rest. (First day might be changed according to your flight schedule)

Day 02

Full-day sightseeing in Tehran (central part). Visit Golestan palace, Grand bazaar, Treasury of National Jewels and national museum. In the evening, you are free to do whatever you want.

Day 03

Full-day sightseeing in Tehran. Visit Niavaran palace, Tajrish bazaar and Tabiat bridge.

Day 04

Drive toward Isfahan. En-route, visit Kashan attractions including Tabatabaei house, Borujerdi House and Sultan Amir Ahmad bathhouse and Fin Garden.

Arrive in Isfahan, check in in hotel and rest.

Day 05

Full-day sightseeing in Isfahan and visit Naqsh-e Jahan square and all monuments located around the square: Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, Ali Qapu and traditional Bazaar. In the evening, strolling along Si-o-se pol bridge.

Day 06

Check-out and drive to Shiraz (250 km). En-route, visit Persepolis and Naqsh-e Rostam. Arrive and check-in in Shiraz.

Day 07

Check-out and drive to Shiraz (250 km). En-route, visit Persepolis and Naqsh-e Rostam. Arrive and check-in in Shiraz.

Day 08

Fly back to Tehran for half-day sightseeing.

Drive toward the IKA in the evening to fly to Ashghabat. (This day might be changed according to your flight schedule)

Day 09

Arrive in Ashqabat. Drive toward the north for to visit Darvaza gas crater (known as the Door to Hell or Gates of Hell)

Day 10

Continue the way through Karakum to visit Kunye Urgench ruins.

Day 11

Exit Turkmenistan and enter Uzbekistan.

Going across the Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Visit the bazaar locating in Dashoguz (still in Turkmenistan) before crossing the border.

Drive to Khiva for rest.

Day 12

Full-day sightseeing in Khiva. Visit Tash-Khovli Palace, Juma Mosque and Kuhha Ark.

Day 13

Drive toward the fascinating city of Bukhara. Arrive in Bukhara in the evening. Free evening.

Day 14

Full-day sightseeing in Bukhara. Visit Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Kalon Mosque, Zindon Prison and the Ark Fortress.

Day 15

Another full-day sightseeing in Bukhara. Visit the rest highlights of Bukhara including the Indian style Char Minar Minarets four tower and gruesome museum.

Day 16

Drive toward Kyzylkhum desert near the town of Nurata to explore the desert, camel ride and overnight stay in Yurt Camp.

Day 17

Drive toward the north for half-day sightseeing in Nurata Hills and Lake Ajdar Kul. After having lunch, drive to Samarkand for rest.

Day 18

Full-day sightseeing in Samarkand to visit the highlights of the city including the Registan, Amir Temur Masoleum, Bibi-Khanym Mosque and Shah-I-Zinda.

Day 19

Full-day sightseeing in Samarkand. Visit Ulug Beg Observatory and Siab bazaar.

Day 20

Half-day sightseeing in Samarkand. You are free to explore the city and purchasing souvenir.

Drive toward the Uzbek capital of Tashkent.

Day 21

Full-day sightseeing in Takhkent. Visit Chorsu bazaar, Ko’kaldosh Madrasasi, Amir Timur Museum and square, and Tashkent tower.

Day 22

Drive to Tashkent international airport to take a flight back to home.
