In Farsi, Koohsangi means “the stone Mountain” because of it’s location between the tall climaxes of Mount Binalud. The climb stairs reach you to the top to see a great view of Mashhad and Imam Reza holy shrine. It takes you about 10 minutes.
Among the natural beauties, the Khorasan museum add some cultural taste to the park. Inspired by the the architecture of the Kalat-e Naderi (during the ruling of King Nader Shah Afshar), the tomb’s materials were chosen from the hard stones of the grass or the monolithic granite known as the stone of every one.
